P.E.R.S. HISTORY
The P.E.R.S. Association – Economic Promotion Romania–Serbia – was founded out of a genuine desire to build a solid bridge between the business communities, institutions, and people of the two neighboring countries. The idea arose from the need to transform Romanian-Serbian economic relations into an organized framework based on trust, cooperation, and a shared vision.
From the very beginning, P.E.R.S. aimed to become an active player in regional economic development, promoting the concept of economic diplomacy — a modern form of cooperation that brings together diplomacy and private initiative to support common progress.
Over the years, the Association has brought together entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of public administration, and the academic environment, providing them with a platform for dialogue and cooperation. Through events, economic missions, forums, and partnerships, P.E.R.S. has contributed to the development of concrete projects in fields such as research, technology, tourism, healthcare, and energy.
The Association’s activity is carried out in the spirit of transparency, professionalism, and international cooperation, with the main objective of stimulating bilateral investments and creating a favorable environment for commercial exchanges between Romania and Serbia.
